It was a crazy week.
We literally did not have time to study this week.
We went to the temple on Tuesday and got up at 4:30 am for it. We didn’t take a nap when we got home, bad idea, and we’re dead the rest of the week thanks to that.
I think our whole zone had low numbers this week. If you looked at any of us you’d have seen really bad dark rings.
But for everything there are compensations.
This week our eternal investigator, Nelson, finally got baptized. We did a white afternoon, where 3 different wards had their baptisms together. We did that because there was a stake activity in the afternoon.
Nelson’s baptism was great. Our bishop, I think, still can’t quite believe that Nelson was baptized, but it’s true. I can’t say I did anything in particular, but I am really happy for him.
The stake activity this week was awesome too. We did a pioneer activity. We all dressed up. Our members lent us clothing, and we did a dance with them. Clearly, my partner was Hernandez. Rules are still rules.
We also had some service activities this week. We’re working with a bilingual school on singing hymns in English. We’re doing that as a zone, 2 times a week, until the presentation. Apparently, the school does this every year with the missionaries. The school’s owned by members. It’s a little scary, but fun at the same time. It’s just it takes away 2 days of study.
Sunday was kinda hectic. We were basically zombies. It was backlash from the week. We ended up going home and taking naps. I literally couldn’t understand people at times, I was so tired.
This week is going to be great too. A little calmer, but awesome.
I hope you all have a great week
Love you lots,
And Now For Pictures!
